LOB LOB

CONCEPT

In Dzilam de Bravo, Lob Lob was born — a cabin retreat focused on responsible ecotourism. A project that protects biodiversity while inviting guests to truly experience nature up close. Each visit is an invitation to slow down, listen, and rediscover what really matters.

The challenge was to make visible what’s felt — the calm in the air and how the environment naturally invites reconnection. We created a warm, authentic identity that reflects that human bond with nature without falling into clichés, staying true to the project’s genuine commitment to conservation.

We designed a custom typeface with a contemporary feel and subtle textures. Its irregular details echo the organic character of the environment, giving the brand an authentic and approachable presence in harmony with its surroundings. The color palette draws directly from Lob Lob’s natural setting: Dark Moss Green and Root connect to the vegetation and soil, Ivory adds clarity and calm, while Sun brings light and coastal energy. Together, the four tones build a visual identity that breathes serenity, life, and balance with its context.

NARRATIVE

The typography brings character and guides the eye naturally across every touchpoint. To enrich the visual universe, we developed graphic elements such as stamps, icons, and layered compositions that add movement and depth while keeping the design simple and fluid. Finally, we defined the photographic style and led the sessions, capturing through soft light, overlays, and monochromatic tones that sense of connection, calm, and warmth that defines every visit.

We drew inspiration from a Mayan concept that refers to vegetation growing under the shade of trees — a metaphor for protection, growth, and harmony with the environment. That idea became the essence of Lob Lob.
